Lingguan Temple
The
Temple is place is located in the half way from Jiangou
village to Guxiang road of Miaofeng Mountain and was
built to repect the Malingguan, the God to protect Buddist
doctrine. The place is the first stop for people who
came to Miaofent Mountain to offer incense during Ming
and Qing dynasty, a kind of activity known as some sort
of "reporting to the God one's visit".

Guxiang Road
The
road collects 5 paths from different directions, north
came the pilgrims from Niege village, middle north came
from Beianhe, middle path came from Dajue temple, middle
south came from Wofo temple, and south came from Sanjiadian.
Along each path, scattered tea booths offering tea to
satisfy thirst of tourists and allow them to have a
rest. The place has a huge potential to be developed
as a scenic spot.
7.
Rose Garden
Miaofeng
Mountain is famous known as the "homeland of roses"
in China. Rose is a beautiful flower having great economic
value. However, the roses planted in Miaofeng Mountain
are particularly large in blossom with thick petals,
dark red color and high oil content. When springs comes,
the whole region will be spread with breath-taking flower
sea with deep sweat fragrance filled into each cornor
of air. It is really a fantastic scean you cannot miss.
8.
Miaofeng Mountain Rangs
Miaofeng Mountain features the highest mountain range
nearest to Beijing downtown. The height of its highest
peak is 1291 meters above the sea level. Standing on
the summit, you will get a whole picture of the city.
The main peak is the best ideal place for observation
of sunrise, dawnglow and clouds sea.

Temple:
The
temple is a famous loyal temple built in Liao dynasty
and enjoyed its peak times during Jin dynasty. The magnificant-looking
architecture is famous for accomplished monks and the
grand scenery of "five-mountain and eight-pavilion",
namely Jiji Mountain, Jinxiu moutain, Bijia mountain,
Duxiu moutain and Lianhua mountain, Jieguan pavilion,
Huixiang pavilion, Ximian pavilion, Jufu pavilion, Liefu
pavilion, Longwang pavilion, Liyuan pavilion, Zhaoliang
pavilion. During Jin dynasty and Yuan dynasty, the number
of towers mounted up to over 800 and became the largest
forest of towers in Beijing city.
Water
Dropping Cave
As
early as in Ming dynasty and Qing dynasty, the spot
was a famous haunt for royals
and high-ranked officials. It was listed one of the
Eight Famous Sceneries in Wanpin according to the historical
records of Kangxi period of Qing dynasty. The cave is
30 meters high and 5 meters deep under the ground, with
beautiful flower blooming around and clicking water
dropping from above, creating a misty, cool and quiet
wonderland. The scene inside is particularly wonderful
in winter as all water drops frozen into crystal
columns formed
in
different shapes. There are five or six subcaves inside
the main one, the largest can hold over 1000 persons
at one time. A large quantity of stalactites leaning
to the ground is one of the more spectacular features
of the cave. But what attracts people most is the "Dragon
Bed" lying in the middle of the cave which is 2.6m
long and 1.5m wide, caved with fish scale patterns.
It is said that a dragon has ever laid there hundreds
of years ago.
Villa
for Zhuang Shidun
Zhuang
Shidun, the famous known loyal teacher of emperor Pu
Yi, was a Scottish who graduated from Oxford University
and ever worked as the secretary of HK Governor. To
honor his work in teaching English
to emperor Pu Yi, a villa was built under the scenic
Miaofeng Mountain. Every April, Zhuang Shidun will come
here to spend his summer vocation. Due to his special
position in the royal family, the villa was invested
heavily and built luxuriously, with the stele engraved
with inscriptions from hand of emperor Pu Yi. Where
the villa laid itself is right the place where the famous
cherry plantation base is located. Thus, it provides
an extra beautiful view of bridge, streams, birds and
hares, quite like a mini picture of South China scenery.
