¡¡¡¡Mentougou
was the headquarter of No.8 Red Army Troop during the
8-years-lasting anti-Japanese war. Many Chinese generals
such as Xiao Ke, Ji Tingxie, Jiao Ruoyu have fought
themselves bravely with the enemies on this land and
thousands of lives were devoted in the battles for the
common shared mission of liberating Chinese people.

¡¡¡¡Miaofeng
Mountain functioned as a relay station connecting the
battle front with the rear support force. Thousands
of hot blood young people were gathered there to head
for Yan'an, starting their long journey of fighting
for the country.
¡¡¡¡In
the early summer of 1945, Miaofeng Mountain finally
welcomed the victory of the 8-years-lasting tough war
against Japanese. Songs and dances were performed to
celebrate the great event and joyous atmosphere was
spread every cornor of the region. Miaofeng Mountian
is not only a beautiful sight-seeing spot but also a
significant place in Chinese revolution history.
